Neuroscience is sexy… and here’s how it can change your life!
I can’t… I’m not good enough… I’ll never find what I want…
How often do you consider the strain these negative and limiting statements have on your mind, choices, and life? How can I change my story? What I learned this week from a hacker turned neuroscientist (and bank robber) is going to completely blow your mind! Moran Cerf tackles the interesting questions on this episode of Tom Bilyeu’s Impact Theory. You can watch the entire episode.
- 1. Surround yourself with the people you want to be like. Moran explains why… “We now know that brains interact with each other through language in a way that synchronizes the brains.” He went on to highlight that just being surrounded by other people connects your brain to theirs and you can actually learn from them by just being near them.
- 2. If you can’t surround your self with those people then watch videos. Moran said to ask yourself “What kind of world do I want to live in and bring that world to you through movies, stories, TV shows and people.”
- 3. Change your story, change you life! Moran agrees with host Tom Bilyeu that if you are struggling to have success “The narrative you tell yourself about yourself is the most important thing you have.” Moran is also an award-winning story teller through The Moth and knows that the story you tell yourself about yourself becomes your identity and you can change your behaviors through narrative.
It is SO true.
There is a life-changing theme persistent throughout ancient traditions and spiritual foundations that is also supported by scientific professionals. They all agree on one recurring truth: Words have the power to create and transform.
This simple lesson from all of this is that never before have we had more knowledge and tools to transform our lives NOW!!
